Antennas

Antennas are key parts in wireless components and transmission networks. Their degree of efficiency, connective and radiation properties largely determine the function of the complete wireless system.

IK Elektronik has a vast amount of experience in developing antennas for a wide variety of applications. This covers the whole range of options from simulation (CST Design Studio) to metrological optimization and even defining the transmission properties (directional characteristics, 3D).

Developing and optimizing antennas is a fixed element in almost any development project and the company often offers this option for outside products – a service for which there is plenty of demand.

Some of the special challenges are:

Miniature antennas with a high efficiency for small casing units where there is little space
