Development High-frequency and microwave technology is a distinct area in the field of electronics and requires special knowledge, simulation and measuring techniques and approaches. IK Elektronik is well suited to cope with these demands. More than 180 products were created until now. All products from IK Elektronik are customized and will be specifically developed to the needs and parameters of products and systems of partners and customers. The decades of joint experience of the various engineers, comprehensive and modern measuring and working equipment, a creative and productive working environment and excellent working conditions are the basis for the success of many individual projects and a number of innovative and forward-looking components, units and systems. Each development is determined by a customer’s requirements and its products. So each individual project is different and requires plenty of individual and creative thinking on the part of all those involved, particularly during the design phase. This is the only way to optimize one or several central parameters – which may include the lowest possible costs in the series manufacturing process, the lowest power consumption, the maximum range, the greatest degree of operating stability or the smallest size. If standard solutions are used, they only allow some of these criteria to be met. So it is impossible or uneconomic to use them, particularly if large numbers of items are required. We at IK Elektronik have specialised in designing and supplying individual, tailor-made products. The company mainly focuses on developing components in the 300MHz and 6GHz frequency range; but the company also has experience in measuring frequencies of more than 20GHz. It goes without saying that our development work also includes supplying all the functions required in addition to the high frequency and wireless operations, including interfaces, microcontrollers, peripheral equipment and software etc. Our development work itself follows a special process that is strictly followed and this safeguards the quality of our results and enables us to keep to deadlines and cost-accounting guidelines. But this still leaves our developers with room to be creative. This reduces to a minimum the development risks – which always exist when a new product is made. It is also vital that the developers, engineers and production specialists work closely together during the product development stage, when designing testing equipment and when starting production.
