Antennas are the interface between wired and wireless transmission
networks and are particularly important in determining the quality of a
transmission path. But each application makes special demands –
particularly if there is little space available or the antenna is near
other components. During the development of wireless units and systems,
it is often the case that too little attention is paid to the antenna.
This often results in the range being too low or the wireless
transmission breaking down completely.
IK Elektronik has had a great deal of experience in the field of
antenna development and has many references in this field. Simulation,
optimization in the laboratory and appropriate measurement options are
part of the package here.
